Poole-based BOFA International has added another prestigious regional business award to its list of 2018 successes, with Marketing & Communications Manager Sally Newman being named winner of the Marketing Excellence category of the Venus Awards.
Sally joined BOFA two years ago with a remit to build BOFA’s brand as the world’s leading fume and dust extraction technology business – and to support the company’s global sales and marketing drive.
Her strategic insight, use of multi-channel marketing tools, and coordination of the company’s marketing activities around the world, has helped BOFA significantly increase its international profile. She was also responsible for writing and compiling the entry that led to BOFA receiving the Queen’s Award for Enterprise (Innovation) last year, and project-managed key elements of the company’s new Centre of Excellence in Poole, which was opened by HRH The Duke of Kent in May.
BOFA Managing Director, Tony Lockwood commented:
Sally’s success in helping us achieve the Queen’s Award epitomises the commitment and skill with which she helps build the BOFA brand day-in, day-out. Her achievement in winning the Venus Award is very much deserved!
Sally’s achievement adds to BOFA’s growing list of industry awards in 2018, which include the Dorset Business Awards, the Made in the South West Awards, the British Chamber of Commerce Awards, BDO Mid-Market Company of the Year and entering the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 list of the UK’s fastest growing exporters for the first time.
