BOFA colleagues will be joining staff from LDC to spend a day helping at a multi-functional centre for children with special needs and their families.
Camp Mohawk is set in five acres of beautiful countryside, just outside Wargrave, Berkshire. Throughout the year the centre provides a range of activities, facilities and natural space to encourage children with a variety of special needs to play, socialise and learn in a secure and caring environment.
We are delighted that LDC have invited us along to lend a hand in restoring and maintaining the facilities which will benefit current and future generations. On Wednesday 11 October 2017, we will be gardening, painting, digging, building and doing anything else that we can do to help keep the adventure centre ‘a safe haven’ for all that use it.
LDC is a long-term supporter of the charity, dating back to 2006. During their ten year partnership they have raised over £105,000 and provided over 2160 hours of labour.
We look forward to working with them to help keep Camp Mohawk the happy place that it is!
