Whether the portable fume and dust filtration technology is destined for laser markets, printing, additive manufacturing, electronics or another industrial sector, each system undergoes the rigorous SureCHECK process.
What is SureCHECK?
SureCHECK is Donaldson BOFA’s unique product quality assurance process and is one of the factors underlining the company’s world leadership in fume extraction systems.

Across the business the systems, inherent in Donaldson BOFA’s ISO 9001 management accreditation, define the standards that support this quality culture. However, Donaldson BOFA’s SureCHECK test and inspection regime goes further, involving eight stages in the test, inspection, and checks procedure.
The Eight Stages of SureCHECK
- The production team ensures precise assembly of each product and prepares all relevant documentation for testing.
- A mechanical inspection is conducted, ensuring the product meets quality standards.
- Safety testing is performed, with results recorded and stored, to confirm the product’s safety for setup.
- The product is programmed with the correct firmware and prepared for functional testing and calibration.
- A test engineer calibrates the system, with settings checked and recorded, before other features are tested.
- Functionality testing is conducted using specific test setups.
- After all testing is completed and documented the system receives a SureCHECK label.
- The product undergoes a final inspection for physical marks and is packed for shipment, ensuring it meets the highest quality standards.
This process ensures that every fume extraction system manufactured undergoes rigorous build and function checks.
