Following the success of the inaugural event in 2014, the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) and the Occupational Hygiene Society of Ireland are coming together to run a two day conference on Exposure Control and Containment II.
The conference is taking place at the Crowne Plaza in Liverpool City Centre on 12th and 13th October, and will cover the specification, design, installation, testing, maintenance and operation of engineering control measures to minimise health risks in the workplace with a focus on the importance each discipline has in the delivery chain.
The event is ideal for people who work in these areas of exposure control, in small and large industry, including electronics, engineering, construction, pharmaceutical, fine chemicals, oil and gas, education and other sectors.
Alongside the main conference schedule will be a small trade exhibition in Princess Suite 2 and 3. BOFA’s Technical Manager, John Horsey, will be there to discuss any fume extraction questions you may have, from current health and safety legislation to product solutions available from BOFA.
For further details about the event and how to register, check out the BOHS website. If you would like to book a meeting in advance, get in touch and we’ll sort out a time convenient for you.
